Since we woke up late Thursday morning, we decided to tell Señora that we were going out to get lunch - tapas or bocadillos. We found a cute little cafe thing and I got a bocadillo of jamón serrano, queso and tomate. It was delicious!
Dinner last night was a fried egg, Chilean? rice, made with tomato, olive oil and some salt, and fried bananas. SO GOOD. We had tea afterwards because we were talking for forever. All three of us want to get our hair done while we're here and it turns out that for a cut and color, it's only 25euro. So cheap compared to home! She said I should get highlights or "reflejos" for my hair. And she has a friend that comes to her apartment to do her hair. Even better! She also told us about her children - a 30yr old son that works in the Embassy in Washington (maybe he helped me when I was there?) and a 27 yr old daughter that works in the discotecas in Barcelona. She is just so kind!
I don't write about breakfasts because it's always the same for me - cereal, toast w/ nutella, orange juice and coffee.
