Valentine's day. Blech.

Well. I woke up Monday morning feeling absolutely LOVELY (not) - in reality I woke up late because I was up all night coughing. But I made it to my 830 class. Once class ended at 10, I made the executive decision to go home and sleep/wait for the doctor's appointment email that I sent that morning.

Lunch wasn't too memorable. But I had my doctor's appointment at 430. One of the people from the program came with me to translate since I'm not fluent in medical talk. The doctor was....a jerk, busy typing on his computer and answering his phone. He literally only looked in my ears and throat, felt my sinuses and listened to me breathe. Then decided to prescribe me 4 medicines....

That visit cost 50 euro. The medicines I picked up at the farmacia cost 50 euro. Being sick is expensive in Spain. Especially when I get a medicine that could potentially mess up my liver (kudos to Mom & Dr. Patti for telling me not to take it). BUT I did take the other 3 medicines which started helping superbly.

I can't remember dinner except for the joy of finally taking an antibiotic.

OH. Did I mention I found out my iPod was broken that day? Yup. Somehow it decided not to work anymore.
